Return of is a restaging and updating of SmokeyScout's New York City hit Confessions of a Plate & Shoe ("A very worthwhile showthey were all great!" exclaimed Papermag.com of the original). Return of features 14 short comedic plays, half from the original and half new works, hilariously woven together through artfully choreographed transitions and played by six of Philly's great comedic actors.
Sharply funny, sometimes outrageously raunchy, these short plays exploit the disturbing absurdities of everyday life and the everyday life of the disturbingly absurd: a happy-go-lucky shoe seeks the friendship of a stuck-up plate; waiting for the bus with the world's most disturbing man; a 13th century battle royale with coatracks (in a poor approximation of High English); and who can't forget Ned Fellows, privates investigator, investigator of privates; plus much more to write home about!
