(insert title here) - An evening with David London - A choose your own magical adventure...
"Our favorite mad genius magician" -Washington Post
Magician David London is up to new tricks. For his latest appearance at Baltimore's Theatre Project, David will allow the audience to create their own magical experience by choosing from a menu of potential tricks, routines, shows, stories, games, as well as several curious points of discussion including alchemy, surrealism, wonder, creativity and all forms of magic, magick and majik.
"More Cocteau than Copperfield." -New City Chicago
David will be prepared to present over 10 years of magical creations based on the preference of the audience, and the order in which they choose. David's performances combine illusion with storytelling, puppetry, comedy and that which cannot be defined, to create original shows of magic unlike that which you have ever experienced before, or will ever experience again. His repertoire includes original performance pieces which explore subjects ranging from the wonders of Wonder Bread, to thinking outside the box, loosing your train of thought, and psychic celebrity toenail clippings.
"David begins with the mundane and twists it ever so artfully to reveal its mystery. " - Baltimore City Paper
David discovered that he was a magician at the age of seven. In his over 20 quest to understand just what that means, he had created five original theatrical magic productions, including Cerebral Sorcery, Art of Dreams, The Adventure to the Imagi Nation and Magic Outside The Box, as well as authored eight manuscripts related to magic and illusion, including Imagining the Imagination, Daydreams, and Borderland State. He regularly performs his unique style of magic at theaters, museums, galleries, festivals, and private events, and has presented his shows, workshops and lectures in over 1/3 of the United States.
