"This inspiring tribute begins as the story of a young Jewish boy crippled by polio when he was six years old. Even though he was confined to crutches and a wheelchair, Doc Pomus went on to pen the music of the baby boomer generation. He wrote hit songs for Elvis, The Drifters, B.B. King, The Coasters, Ray Charles, and Andy Williams. One of American music's great untold stories!
