Danko is a strict vegetarian but he leaves a trail of human victims in his wake. He solicits bribes from patients, bullies
his colleagues, and covers up his medical mistakes. Despite this, he is a serious contender for clinic chief. He also has friends in all the right places: when he makes a fatal error in the operating room, a crooked coroner and corrupt police officer conceal the evidence.
Eventually Danko tries to cut his ties with the criminal underworld but his "friends" ask him for one more favor: will he go too far, even for an amoral antihero like Danko?
