American Music! Seattle
Join us as we sojourn through the history of American choral traditions with this rousing program of American Music. Our featured guests will be Marlette Buchanan, former lead soloist of the Fisk Jubilee Singers and 4.0 Quartet, the local Barbershop Quartet Champions.
The program features works by Morten Lauridsen, Eric Whitacre, Moses Hogan, Amy Beach, George Gershwin, William Walker, Willam Schumann, and the audience will join us on sing-throughs of sveral pieces of American music!
Illumni is on of the areas premier music groups. They've appeared on local and national television, including NBC's America's Got Talent, and CNN/Headline News. They were recently named, "The Concert to See This Weekend" by the Tacoma News Tribune. The concerts are fun, enjoyable, and a great time for everyone!
