Jazz Nights at Roedde House: The Superfriends
The Superfriends is an East-West Jazz collective featuring four young Canadian musicians currently based in Vancouver.
Daniel Reynolds (piano) and Tristan Paxton (guitar) will be joined by Conrad Good (bass) and Adam Cormier (drums) from Montréal.
The concert will feature a mix of original music as well as favourites from the jazz repertoire.
All four of the musicians grew up in the Lower Mainland but spent time together at McGill University. Each one brings a unique perspective into the group. Individually they have collaborated with artists such as Joe Lovano, Ben Monder, Chet Doxas, John Taylor and Phil Dwyer.
This concert is part of a monthly concert series, taking place on the second Thursday of each month at 7pm.
*****PARKING****** There are 4 available spots, designated as "Roedde House Museum Guests", on a private parking lot at the back of the house (alongside Broughton St).
Other options include the parking lot at the Empire Landmark Hotel (Robson & Broughton) or street parking on Robson and in the West End.
Parking spots are scarce in the neighbourhood, so give yourself some extra time or use public transportation. (Closest Skytrain station: Burrard. We are on the #5 Robson bus route).
**This concert series would not be possible without the generous support of the McGrane Pearson Fund and the Vancouver Foundation**
