Songwriters In The Round - Season Finale
Lisa Redfern brings four talented Maine songwriters to perform in an intimate, unplugged setting in Frontier's theatre for an evening of compelling songs and stories. At this season finale, she'll be joined by Paul Chase, Jr., Heather Hardy, and Brad Strause.

Lisa Redfern

For over 25 years Lisa's music has brought joy and comfort to hundreds of thousands. An award-winning singer-songwriter currently at work on her 9th solo CD, she blends her roots in all forms of Americana music to create something unmistakably her own. After Lisa opened for Livingston Taylor he commented to her, "Wow, I haven't heard of voice like yours in 30 years, you sound like the original folk women."

Paul Chase, Jr.

After years of performing with various projects, Paul has released his first solo acoustic album, What Is Real. With strong feelings about world issues and human struggles, Paul pairs honest and raw lyrics with passionate vocals and a unique guitar style. Diverse influences, complex combinations of guitar picking and strumming, along with a broad vocal range create dynamic music that keep the audience transfixed.

Heather Hardy

Heather Hardy is an award-winning singer-songwriter from Midcoast Maine. Heather blends her unique voice with rich melodies, often highlighting mouth trumpet instrumentals in her songs. In July of 2012, she placed second in the New England Songwriting Contest at the Ossipee Folk Festival. She is co-organizer of the Round Top Coffee House in Damariscotta, Maine.

Brad Strause

Brad may have discovered he had a talent for songwriting later in life, but he is certainly making up for lost time. After a life overhaul he moved to Portland and began his musical sojourn with the popular Cajun band Douce. That experience led to performing and recording original material with Strause & Company, eventually releasing their first album "Come On Over" in 2009. He recently released his second album, this time under his own name with this year's well received collection "Close To The Bone."
