Donate to the 501c3 non-profit Phoenix Film Foundation
The Phoenix Film Foundation was created in 2000 to support the Phoenix Film Festival. Since then the organization has added on the Phoenix Film Society, IFP-Phoenix, International Horror and Sci-Fi Film Festival and Arizona Student Film Festival.
A key aspect of these programs has been the educational elements including the High School Educational Outreach and Kids' Day programs at the Phoenix Film Festival. Additionally, discussions following screenings at the Phoenix Film Festival, Intl Horror and Sci-Fi Film Festival and Phoenix Film Society give audiences an opportunity to learn how films are made. Finally, IFP-Phoenix provides film workshops all year-long in addition to film challenges for filmmakers to improve their skills.
MISSION STATEMENT
The Phoenix Film Foundation is a 501c3 Non-profit Organization whose mission is to support and develop the artistic appreciation, educational opportunities and growth of independent film within Arizona. The Foundation's primary functions through its programs are to promote the exhibition of independent films and conduct educational programs that teach the art of independent filmmaking.
CORE VALUES
Appreciation: Filmmaking is an art form, not just a multi-billion dollar industry. It is a forum to tell stories that can engage the emotion and the intellect. Regardless of the budget, a filmmaker can tell an interesting story that an audience can appreciate.
Inspiration: A focus on the development of skills in students, new artists, and to offer opportunities, tools, techniques and educational opportunities to those who wish to become involved in filmmaking.
Dedication: Establishing and maintaining the organization in an on-going basis as a respected center for film enthusiasm, appreciation and education.
