Never Too Late
The Bay St. Louis Little Theatre will open its latest production "Never Too Late" on May 31st. The hit comedy was written by Sumner Arthur Long and opened on Broadway in 1962. The show ran for over 1000 performances to audiences that left the theater laughing.
This Broadway hit is about a married man, Harry Lambert, in his fifties who suddenly learns he is becoming a father again. His wife, Edith, is thrilled. Harry's male friends are amazed, amused, and perhaps a bit envious. The anticipated arrival is complicated further because the couple's 24-year-old daughter and son-in-law live with them. The hilarious relationships between the characters keep the audience laughing.
The show is directed by Richard O'Briant and is produced by Cheryl Grace. The cast includes Mary Ellen Murphy, Irvin Hansen, Brandon Everett, Leslie Barajas, Lynn Young, Jamie Temple, Clayton Pennylegion, Drew Puffer, and Ben Levitt.
The show dates and times are May 31, June 1, June 7, June 8 at 8pm, and June 2 and June 9 at 2pm. Doors open one hour before the show and seating starts 30 minutes before each show.
