Jeff Hall & 3rd Coast Vocals Live in the Jazz Cave
On Friday, November 9 at 8pm we welcome the return to the Jazz Cave of vocalist Jeff Hall, along with 3rd Coast Vocals.
A favorite of Nashville jazz audiences, Jeff is an amazing performer and arranger now located in the Baltimore area. His most recent CD, 2015's "Life, Collected," was recorded in Los Angeles with a group of top L.A. jazz musicians: pianist Tamir Hendelman (from the Jeff Hamilton Trio), bassist Kevin Axt and drummer Ray Brinker (from the Tierney Sutton Band).
Jeff has two previous CD's as a leader, "Let's Face The Music" (2003) and "Get Out of Town" (2008), as well as the debut CD of his Nashville-based jazz vocal ensemble 3rd Coast Vocals.
Consisting of musical director/arranger Jeff Hall (tenor), Sandra Dudley (alto), Mark Stephens (bass), and Christina Watson (soprano), 3rd Coast Vocals is a four part vocal jazz ensemble that thrills audiences with their tight harmonies and snappy arrangements. All four members are masterful solo singers, and together they form an ensemble of truly rare talent
There will be two sets beginning at 8:00 pm in the Jazz Cave at the Workshop. Admission is $25 / $15 high school and college students with ID. Tickets will go on sale Monday October 29 at 10AM and will be available online on this page, by phone 24/7 at Brown Paper Tickets (800-838-3006) or during business hours at the NJW office (242-5299). A small convenience charge is added to online or 800-number purchases.
Policies: The Jazz Cave is a BYOB establishment, with no alcohol or food service. You are free to bring alcoholic beverages and snacks. We sell soft drinks and bottled water. The Jazz Cave is a listening room, and we ask patrons to keep conversation to a minimum and silence cell phones. Audio and video recording is prohibited. Ticket sales are final.
The Nashville Jazz Workshop is a nonprofit organization offering classes for all ages, instruments, and levels, public performances, and special events for the community.
