SQUEEGEE MAN & A KILLING IN HUIPILES A Staged Reading of TWO short plays Written by Stan Kaplan Directed by Stan Kaplan
PERFORMANCE DATES:
November 10 @ 5:00 PM
SQUEEGEE MAN SYNOPSIS: On a busy street corner in Manhattans glitzy Soho, a visiting fat cat gets a Christmas surprise from a lowly squeegee man in this wry, humorous tale of asymmetrical urban warfare.
A KILLING IN HUIPILES SYNOPSIS: Enjoy fine dining? Why not try someone elses culture? A successful businessman recounts his start in the import-export trade in 1980s war-torn Guatemala. Well, as the Baron said: No better time for a profit than when blood is running in the streets. Yes, but its the Count who sleeps away the day, in a sealed compartment aboard a steamer, in his native soil.
