Tashina Clarridge House Concert
Grand National Fiddle Champion Tashina Clarridge has played Fiddle since she was two. She has performed throughout the western United States, taught hundreds of lessons and workshops, and won countless awards. Raised in the mountains of northern California, Tashina studied both fiddle and classical violin. Her musical horizons were expanded by frequent visits to Mark O'Connor's fiddle camp where she studied with fiddlers such as Darol Anger, Natalie MacMaster, Buddy Spicher, Matt Glaser, and Mark O'Connor.
Tashina has performed at Carnegie Hall as part of Grammy winning bassist Edgar Meyer's Young Artists concert, and has toured with Mark O'Connor, Tony Trischka, Laurie Lewis, the Bill Evans String Summit, the contemporary bluegrass group Due West, and the BeeEaters with her brother Tristan. Together Tashina and Tristan have taught hundreds of lessons and workshops and have instructed at Mark O'Connor's Strings Conference for 8 years.
Tashina and guests will bring song, fiddle and harmonies to our amazing music room.
