Palisades Virtuosi presents a program of works that celebrate New Jersey, either written by NJ composers or about our great state. Our featured commissioned work will be by Bergen County resident, Jeffrey Kaufman based on the poem "Paterson" by Rutherford native William Carlos Williams. In a rare diversion, this work will include narration by world renowned opera singer Frank Basile, who will also sing two songs written by PV pianist Ron Levy.
Other works will include "Anatolian Dances" by local Hackensack composer, Godfrey Schroth, performed in his memory; "Rhapsody" by Teaneck composer, Patrick D. Finley and "George Washington Slept Here!" by John Lampkin.
Palisades Virtuosi is thrilled to be performing their debut appearance at Bergen County's latest performing arts venue - HACPAC in downtown Hackensack. Free Parking is available and there is lovely park at the venue, along with a wonderful art gallery in which we will give our pre-concert talk at 2:15 prior to the concert at 3:00. A reception follows the concert to meet and greet with the artists and composer.
We have been told that all tickets must be sold through the HACPAC eventbrite website. So no tickets will be sold through this link. So sorry! For anyone who reaches this site from previously promoted links, please visit https://www.hacpac.org/event/pv-celebrates-nj/ for tickets - or you may visit our website www.palisadesvirtuosi.org for the correct link for tickets!
