Seth Power is a first-generation Mississippian raised on a musical diet of Blues, Rock, and Pop/RnB. He began singing his favorite songs from artists like Jonny Lang and John Mayer when he was only 7, and at age 8, his parents decided it was time for him to learn to play. He started on the piano, and though he enjoyed the instrument, two years later he received a Fernandes electric guitar for Christmas and never looked back. At the age of 14, he began writing, playing, and recording original material, amassing dozens of self-recorded ballads of his own making. At 15, he began playing open mics and learning from some of the best musicians Jackson, MS has to offer. However, with all that being said, it wasn't until the age of 22 that Power finally knew that music was his true calling in life. He threw everything else to the wayside and began to pursue his passion full time. His debut, studio EP, "Magnolia Soul," began making waves across the world on an independent artist platform known as Jamendo. 3 of Seth's songs from his 6-song EP inhabited the Top 10-Best of All Genres, chart for over 10 weeks, with "Fire" reaching #2, "Casanova" reaching #4, and "Messes" reaching the #6 slot. Now, he's recording a whole new batch of songs at Crown Studios in Jackson, MS and will begin releasing the new material in the Fall of 2018.
