Navigating California's Employment Law Landscape for Design Professionals in the Me Too Era
Presented By: Dealy Renton and Collins Collins Muir + Stewart

As the California employment law landscape continues to evolve, its crucial to stay educated on how the law affects you, whether you're a firm owner or employee. The presentation will provide an overview of the new employment laws in California and provide actionable advice for mitigating risk in an area that most design professionals do not consider in their day-to-day practice.

This seminar will cover:

-An overview of recent developments in California employment law and explain how such developments impact design professionals.

-Explain the various insurance products available for design professionals to ensure protection against employment-related claims.

-Provide advice on how to mitigate risk on a day to day basis for design professionals

-Clear up misconceptions about whether certain types of claims (i.e., employment claims) are covered by standard insurance products.
