Voices of Our City Choir Holiday Party

Come enjoy our annual 2018 Voices of Our City Choir Holiday Party for an evening of music and song at Bread and Salt. The Voices of Our City Choir was founded in 2016 with one goal in mind: Changing the perception and experience of homelessness through musical performance, group participation and advocacy! This special event will include live performances, a silent auction, Soul & Jazz music, drinks by Vanguard Culture and a live DJ. All funds raised will benefit those experiencing homelessness in San Diego.

Featuring:
Steph Johnson - Award winning, original soul-jazz vocalist, guitarist and composer, community leader and Co-Founder of the Voices of Our City Choir.

Curtis Taylor - Grammy-Award winning trumpeter with a unique musical blend of soulfulness, harmonic sensibilities and rhythm.

Ricky Giordano - Multifaceted guitarist, performer and Voices of Our City Choir guitar workshop lead.

Melonie Grinnell - San Diego-based Jazz pianist, vocalist, music educator, and musical director.

Rob Thorsen - Jazz acoustic bassist, performer, educator, clinician and composer.

Richard Sellers - Drummer with over 25 years professional experience in styles including: Jazz, Afro-Latin, Rock, Blues, R&B and more.

Voices of Our City Choir - An in-demand performance ensemble made up of unsheltered neighbors and founded by San Diego musicians.
