A Christmas Story, The Musical
A Christmas Story, The Musical full description: The classic Christmas movie, A Christmas Story, was reworked for the Broadway stage as a new musical in 2012 to rave reviews. The hit Broadway show is now coming to the Omak PAC as OVOC's Spring 2019 production. It's a hilarious and heartfelt Broadway-style musical that tells a comedic tale of family, youthful wishes, and mishaps. The story of Ralphie, who schemes his way towards the holiday gift of his dreams, takes place in 1940s Indiana.
This fun-filled musical includes all of the iconic scenes you know and love from the movie: Flick getting his tongue stuck on the flagpole; Ralphies brother, Randy, getting dressed in his snowsuit; Farkus and Dill as the bullies; the Chinese restaurant; and, of course, the famous leg lamp! The local cast includes dozens of children, Hayden Swartsel as Ralphie, Randy is played by Finnegan McElderry, Mom and Pop are played by Meaghan McElderry and Doug Brandt. The author, Jean Shepard, is represented as the narrator, played by Don Pearce.
