When Granite Bay High School opened its doors in 1996, the founding main stage production was Thornton Wilder's "Our Town." With its minimalist style that highlights the importance of simple beauty in the world around us, Wilder's 1938 Pulitzer Prize Winning Play was the perfect choice for a new school, building a new community.
From 1999 to 2012, Granite Bay High School theatre teacher Jim Prichard had a profound impact on thousands of students who came through the theater building. This fall, we are honoring the late Mr. Prichard by renaming our theater - The James T. Prichard Performing Arts Center.
It is only fitting that Theatre at Granite Bay re-opens the theater with the same masterpiece that opened it twenty-two years ago.
The cast includes Chloe Boyan, Carter Bradford, Bethany Brooding, Olivia Brubaker, Delaney Dannert, Brad Davito, Jack Dugoni, Matt Gandler, Avi Gattani, Stephen Hernandez, Ashley Lucia, Noah Lutz, Aidan Maney, Devin Manzo, Jake Northam, Cayla Quinn, Daniel Patterson, Morgan Peterson, Rami Sadek, Raegan Toni Scheer, Sophia Tastor, Tasia Thorsteinson
