Celebration Provocation (with Libations!)
Thank you for being a part of our foolsFURY community this year. 2018 was a great year for us! With your help and support, we premiered hosted another amazing FURY Factory Festival, bringing together amazing Devised and Ensemble work from across the country.
This December 1st, foolsFURY invites you to a thought-provoking and thoroughly fun holiday gathering! Come celebrate the year past, look to the year coming and maybe help us raise a couple of bucks to keep on keeping on doing what we do.
This is an evening of curated short plays, stories, rants, and poems, read aloud by professional actors and the theater curious and also and evening of delicious food, libatious drink, fascinating people and fun shenanigans. We hope that you'll join us.
Admission is free. RSVPing is strongly encouraged.
NEW THIS YEAR - We are accepting work submissions for the event.
Submissions: Are open and public. Submissions will be curated by foolsFURY. A handful of texts will be selected. Some will be rehearsed in advance and performed, while others will be assigned to audience members during our ever popular and not-yet-patented Reading Roulette.
Guidelines:
We are looking for short works that spark wonder and feed the soul.
What exactly that means is up to you.
The works may be in narrative, dramatic, or poetic formats (or whatever else comes to mind.)
Whatever the form, they should benefit from being read aloud.
They should be short: 3-5 minutes total.
Ideally 1-2 readers/characters.
