Become a Neighborhood Walking Ambassador!

We are looking for passionate amblers to become Neighborhood Walking Ambassadors---trained individuals who lead Feet First Walks through their community.

To date, Feet First has trained over 35 ambassadors with a unique curriculum including hands on training to assist with the development of themed walks that inspire and motivate people to explore places by foot. These walks allow community members to connect with each other and their surroundings while encouraging healthy habits and safety.

Feet First trains and supports the Neighborhood Walking Ambassadors throughout the process to make sure the walks are successful. The walks are themed, interpretive events bringing neighbors together to share the interest of walking. If you have been to one of our Feet First neighborhood walks, you have experienced this before. Participants must register for this free training in advance. Participation is limited to 30 people.
