BIG's 30,000 kHz of Sound Invasion - Friday!
Sometimes, when things are at their darkest, our eyes are finally opened to all we have before us. A great expanse of possibilities is created, and we see opportunities we have never noticed before. This is especially true for one of the most unusual improv formats, The Bat. Performed in complete darkness, The Bat sounds like a radio play, with all action being voiced by the cast. It has been a challenge and an inspiration to improvisers since it was created by Joe Bill of Chicago's Annoyance Theatre, and 30,000 kHz of Sound (of NYC's Magnet Theatre) has adopted a version of this format as their own. This weekend, they'll show us how it's done. Friday, Lekker, Evan the Loyal, and Regret will join them.
