Banquo Folk Ensemble - Nov 17 "Pastime With Good Company"
Banquo Folk Ensemble has been performing around Victoria for 20 years. This November, we are celebrating that with a program of traditional music spanning 800 years.
Banquo is an acoustic ensemble, featuring over 25 instruments, from recorder to shawm, bagpipe to hurdy gurdy, cittern to mandolin, and many more, along with the beautiful voices of Lael Whitehead and Gwendolyn Jamieson.
With ancient ballads, rollicking dance tunes and rhapsodic melodies, the concert will feature music to warm your ears on a cold winter day.
