Neighborhood Night at the Museum
Our city's neighborhoods were shaped by historic decisions, including red lining and racially restrictive covenants. Please join us for a special night at Hennepin History Museum to learn more about this history and its legacy, as well as to learn more about Hennepin History Museum's mission to preserve and share the history of Minneapolis and Hennepin County. There will be a conversation with the Owning Up curators, as well as an opportunity to tour the exhibition itself.
Funds raised from this evening supports the Museum's efforts to share important stories from local history. We receive approximately 35% of our budget from Hennepin County, with the generous support of individual donors and members necessary to make up the difference.
All are welcome. Space is limited, and we ask that you purchase tickets in advance. There is no set price; please pay what you are able.
Please note that visiting the Museum at this time does require the use of stairs (we are currently working on assessing our building, including how to make it fully accessible.)
