Aztec Two Step
In 1972, Aztec Two-Step, whose name comes from a poem by beat poet Lawrence Ferlinghetti, burst on the scene with their self-titled debut album on Elektra Records. Since then Rex Fowler and Neal Shulman spent a lifetime making music together as the folk/rock duo Aztec Two-Step. Their first album, along with their subsequent albums for RCA Records were staples of progressive FM and college radio and helped to bring the folk/rock music of the 1960s into the 70s and beyond.
Now, after 47 years of touring, Neal will be taking an indefinite period of time off after the passing of his beloved wife Karen, and Rex welcomes to the Aztec Two-Step stage Steven Muddy Roues (Roues Brothers, Jon Pousette-Dart) on upright bass and vocals; and on vocals, guitar and keyboards, Dodie Pettit (cast member of Broadways Phantom of the Opera and Cats).
Join Rex, Dodie and Muddy as they perform all the ATS fan favorites old and new!
