Women Leading Change: Women in STEAM
This is the Women's Fund of Rhode Island's premier event, bringing together business and community leaders, social activists, philanthropists, and anyone interested in leveling the playing field for women and girls in Rhode Island. The theme this year is Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM).
Highlights include:
Emcee: Representative Deb Ruggiero, Host of "Amazing Women"
Keynote Speaker: NASA Scientist, Kimberly Arcand
WFRI Leadership Award will be presented to Secretary of State, Nellie Gorbea
Susan Farmer Advocacy Award will be presented to Anna Cano-Morales
The event will include a sit-down dinner, silent auction and one of a kind centerpieces designed in collaboration with high school students and RI Mobile Maker Lab.
