The Comedy Underground Presents Best of the Comedy Competition starring JOE VESPAZIANI
One of the Northwest's most in-demand comedians, Joe Vespaziani was the winner of the 1998 Seattle International Stand Up Comedy Competition.
"Joe V" as he is known, was born in Boston but raised in Canada, where his father was a well-known Canadian Football League coach.

"The Comedy Underground Presents" runs at the Admiral every Friday and Saturday July 11 through September 26 (except for Labor Day weekend August 29 & 30). Each month has a separate theme: July is "The Best of the Seattle Comedy Competition" and features past winners and finalists from the acclaimed annual event; August is "The Heirs of Lenny Bruce," which presents comedians who embody the spirit of Mr. Bruce by performing challenging socially conscious and politically relevant material; and September is "Ladies of Laughter," which will bring all female comedians to the stage every show.
