3231 Sustain -- Urban Garden Work Party

Hang out with a bunch of cool people and learn about sustainable gardening while helping us build one! Gain hands on experience and learn about organic food production and sustainable landscape management while working alongside 3231 Creatives Garden Coordinator and other volunteers in our garden. Meet in the alley behind 3231 Creatives (off of 33rd Street).

We'll have lots of fun, plenty of snacks, and lots of different kinds of gardening duties to fit all types and ages of people. Come join the fun!!!

There is plenty of free street parking. No parking is allowed in the alleyway.

We're looking for the following donations for this project. Please feel free to bring these items with you and / or bring donations by 3231 Creatives any time (during our open hours: Tues - Thurs, noon to 7, Fridays and Saturdays, noon to 5):
black and white newspaper
sand or small gravel
terracotta pots with or with out holes
bulbs, seeds, plants
cuttings or starts of fruit trees, shrubs, or vines
garden tools
