Zarzuela and Beyond
We're bringing together three wonderful artists for this spectacular event. Soprano Alexandra Sessler, who was recently featured in our last production and is recognized as one of the premiere singers of her generation, will be accompanied on piano by composer and artistic director Hector Armienta. Together, they will perform some of the most beloved arias of Zarzuela repertoire.
To close the evening, the world renowned Flamenco dancer and choreographer La Tania will perform two dance pieces. Composer Hector Armienta, who has won national awards for his Latino influenced compositions, is composing a new piece for La Tania and it will have its world premiere at the concert. This is an event that you will not want to miss.
