Friends of Children RED SHOE BALL
The entry doors are held open and you walk the red carpet into a festive celebration! Paparazzi capture your every move. Part dance party, part auction, part contest for best red shoes, part culinary festival. It's all heart and all fun!
Friends of Children's 2013 Red Shoe Ball benefit is scheduled for Friday, May 17th at the Garden House at Look Park in Northampton. Last year's Ball saw the glitterati of the Pioneer Valley step out in their finest to dance the night away, bid on auction items and compete for the coveted Best In Shoe award!
At this year's Ball:
We'll give dinner for two and a pair of tickets to see SNL's Seth Meyers to the Winner of BEST IN SHOE!
We'll honor Sen. Stan Rosenberg and Rep. Ellen Story for their support of vulnerable kids!
We'll be eating scrumptious food prepared by Seth Mias Catering!
We'll dance to tunes spun by our fabulous DJ, Joan Holliday from 93.9 WRSI!
We'll have an assortment of auction items, both silent and live, like Blue Man Group Tickets, three course meals for two in Manhattan, vacation homes in places like Cape Cod, jewelry, works by local artists, bowling parties and much more at every price!

When Judy Garland clicked her Ruby Red slippers together, she spoke for all children. We speak for those children in western MA, working to bring them the simple magic of a home, relationships with trusted adults, and access to necessary services.
As a local, independent non-profit that has championed children's rights in the Pioneer Valley for over 20 years and served more than 9500 children, we value our partnerships with the community. It takes the investment of time, energy, and money from across our community to ensure the well being of very vulnerable children and youth.
For every child we serve, we know there are ten more who would benefit by our advocacy. The Red Shoe Ball is our annual event to help us raise awareness and funds to serve kids who need help!
