What's the Web Got To Do With Me: Filmmakers On Web Series
a DCTV Presents panel co-presented with IFP
As the ways in which audiences find and watch content shifts online, a new breed of storytellers have cropped up to produce high-quality serialized work unique to the web.
Join us to hear from four filmmakers who have found success online, as they discuss the art and business of crafting a successful original web-series. What are some of the chief benefits and challenges of the format? How can a creator build an online audience - and perhaps even make a bit of money? And how can a successful web series influence and inform a filmmaker's ultimate career path?
This panel will feature the following web series creators. After the panel, stick around to share a drink, meet the panelists, and keep the conversation going!
