Claire Holley Concert Benefiting UMD, 5/3
"The charm of Holley's hummable melodies, imagistic lyrics and vocal prowess suggest she'll keep bringing crowds in from the cold" --Washington Post
Strings Attached Productions celebrates its first 10 years of top quality concerts benefiting Urban Ministries of Durham with the return of the artist who launched our series in April 2003--Claire Holley!
This captivating singer/songwriter exudes warmth with songs steeped in the southern gospel and country of her childhood mixed with the influences of her grown-up life in Chicago, North Carolina and Los Angeles. Since moving to LA, Claire's put out three CDs, two children, and original film scores. Please join in for our 10th anniversary party as we welcome back the charming Claire Holley, Friday, May 3, at 7 PM.
We'll have beer from Bull City Burger & Brewery, wine, sodas/water and special snacks! We also provide childcare, although well-behaved kids are encouraged to attend the concert. We're near Durham's best restaurants and food trucks and on the Bull City Connector. Plus we have plenty of free parking. So no excuses! C'mon out to the Parish Hall of St. Philip's in downtown Durham for some great music, great beer, and a great cause!
All Strings Attached profits benefit Urban Ministries of Durham (umdurham.org).
"Claire Holley is an observer, a romantic reporter from the backyards and front porches of the heartland" --Acoustic Guitar
