An Eclectic Evening inside the Steampunk Story Portal Shine Edition
BOULDER, CO The Story Portal invites you to an eclectic evening of storytelling, live music, and story-inspired cuisine at Shine Gathering Place on Thursday, May 15 at 7:30 p.m.
Feed the belly by luxuriating in a story-inspired three-course meal. Feed the mind by listening to real-life stories told live at the Story Portal spinning wheel by fellow party-goers. Festive attire inspired by mythic storytellers from days gone by, when true stories, much stranger than fiction, were told around our nation's wood stoves, campfires and parlors is encouraged but not required.
Attendees will receive:
A three-course meal from Shine chef Jessica Emich: salad, a choice of entree, each with its own story, and desert, all from Shine's organic, gluten-free, and locally sourced menu
Live storytelling by The Story Portal as well as participants
Live music from renowned singer/songwriter Paul K., featuring his own story-based songs
