Slow Food South Bay Farm (History) -to-Table
Combine Farming History and Local Fare in downtown Redwood City, Saturday, 4/20/13, 3:00PM-5:30PM
Join Slow Food South Bay (SFSB) for a specially-arranged, docent-led tour of "Plowing Ahead: Historic Peninsula Farming," at the beautifully renovated Old Courthouse Museum in downtown Redwood City. Explore a time when agriculture was the most important industry in San Mateo County.
Then stroll a few blocks to gastropub Martins West to nosh on Chef Michael Dotson's local, seasonal Scottish-inspired pub fare and drink in another newly restored historic building on Main Street.
Docent-led Tour: 3:00PM-4:00PM Appetizers and Drinks at Martins West: 4:15PM-5:30PM (& beyond?) Cost: $20 per person (museum fee and pub appetizers) Drinks: On you!
