Comedy Uncovered: Live! Showcase at Comedy Bar!
We're back to present the best of Toronto's cutting-edge comedy scene with a showcase of the most promising Stand Up, Improv and sketch comedy this city has to offer, and we'd love to share it with you!

This month's line up includes sketch by Mark and Kyle (of PicnicFace, Rollertown), stand up by Julia Hladkowicz (LA Comedy Fest), Taylor Erwin (Comedy Uncovered's Man of the Yearahem) and headliner Steph Tolev (Edinburgh, No Kidding). Look forward to your host Fraser Young, (International headliner, Comedy NOW) taking the reigns on this wicked-awesome night! Oh yeah, we may even have a mystery guest!

Here's the 'cred of behind our stellar line up:
Mark Little and Kyle Dooley
Mark and Kyle first saw success within their 8-member sketch troupe, PicnicFace. After producing one of the early original viral videos, PowerThirst, (27 million views to date). This proved to the world (and industry) that PicnicFace meant comedy business.
They created and starred in their self-titled TV show which aired on The Comedy Network in 2012. Their movie, RollerTown, (for which Mark co-wrote and starred, and Kyle both featured and edited) was in the Slamdance, Atlantic and Canadian Front Film Festivals. They even released a book, Picnicface's Canada, back in 2011.
Individually, their accomplished with Stand Up and Improv, performing at Just For Laughs among a series of other comedy festivals, and shows.

Host: Fraser Young
Not your standard setup-punchline comedian, Fraser Young is a stand-up comedian with a style all his own. He's headlined clubs across North America and as far away as Hong Kong. He's made several national television and radio appearances, including his own "COMEDY NOW!" special (CTV, The Comedy Network in Canada), as well as being a regular feature on Sirius XM Satellite Radio.
As a writer, he's written for TV shows including "Almost Heroes, The Genie Awards, The NHL Awards, and The Latest Buzz, which earned him a Writer's Guild Award nomination. He now works as a writer for George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight, airing on CBC @ 7pm Mon-Fri.

Julia Hladkowicz:
Julia Hladkowicz is an award winning comedian and actor. She's performed on The Comedy Network, Video on Trial and on SiruisXM Satellite Radio. Most recently, she taped her own No Kidding Tv Special.
This blonde dynamo has performed at Yuk Yuks all across Canada and landed 2 hilarious commercials for Lindt chocolate with tennis Icon Roger . She showcased at LAFF(Ladies are Funny Festival) in Austin, Texas, the LA Comedy Fest and the Canadian International Comedy Fest. Julia was a semi-finalist in The Great Canadian Laugh Off, a finalist in SiriusXM Canada's Next Top Comics, showcased at COCA and performed under Comedy Records at NXNE.
She has opened for big names such as Anthony Jeselnik, Nikki Glaser and Scott Thompson to name a few.

Headliner: Steph Tolev
Steph Tolev is a stand up and sketch comic from Toronto, Ontario. For the past six years, Steph's been performing religiously around the city as both a stand up and as part of her sketch duo Ladystache.
Over this past year,Steph has performed in the LA Comedy Fest, Chicago's Women's Funny Fest, the Toronto and Montreal Sketch festivals, North By North East Music Festival and the Cleveland Comedy Festival.
Ladystache has been awarded the Most Innovative Troupe award and One More Step award at the Montreal sketch fest in 2010 and 2011. This summer, they completed a very successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, were featured on BBC Radio Three, and had a number of four star reviews. Most recently, Steph opened up for Rob Delaney at the Danforth Music Hall to a sold out audience in Toronto.
She has been featured on Much Music's Video On Trial, MTV's Losing it and 30 Seconds Go, taped stand up for the iChannel's No Kidding and the Late Night with Matty D special. Most recently, Ladystache won the Sirius XM radios competition Sketch Off and is working on her first full length comedy record.

Taylor Erwin:
Taylor has performed comedy around Toronto and Ontario for the past seven years. He's written and performed two one-man shows (Dating with Fire and Perfect on Paper) and has been a feature stand up in some of Toronto's best rooms and clubs including Yuk Yuk's, Absolute Comedy, The Rivoli, Spirits, Comedy Bar and others. His satirical humour aims to expose the fallacies of his old life as a 9-5'er and failed 'ladiesman. Taylor's training includes Second City Improv, Sketch and Comedy Writing. When Taylor's not working out his neck, he's busy as the Creator and Editor of Comedy Uncovered, a Toronto comedy industry magazine aimed to revolutionize the Toronto comedy scene.
