Join The Bronx Concert Singers (BCS) and music director Robert René Galván on Sunday, May 19, at 4:30 pm for their 32nd Annual Spring Concert:  I Dream a World, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Parkchester, Bronx, NY.  This multi-cultural program features songs from around the world performed by the BCS chorus, with BCS accompanist Tamara Cashour, professional soloists and chamber ensemble.

I Dream a World is a musical collage of songs from around the globea multi-cultural musical experience that includes folk songs, traditional works, opera choruses, spirituals and more.  The audience will feel right at home with familiar melodies such as "Goin Home," from Antonin Dvorak's Symphony No. 9, From the New World, Op. 95; William L. Dawson's arrangement of "Ev'ry Time I Feel the Spirit" and Jill Jackson Miller and Sy Miller's "Let There be Peace on Earth."  The program will also feature traditional songs form around the world such as "Arirang," from Korea, "Siyahamba," from South Africa, as well as international songs that many of us hold dear such as "Erev Shel Shoshanim," by  Yosef Hadar and Moshe Dor, from Israel.

Tickets are available in advance and at the door from BCS.   General admission is $20 / two for $35, seniors and students with valid ID, $15 and children through high school, $5.  Tickets may also be charged through Brown Paper Tickets by phone at 1-800-838-3006, or online at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/367275 .
