GUTTERMOUTH: The word "punk" is thrown around a lot these days and unfortunately, it's been misrepresented in every way, shape, and form. Then there's California's Guttermouth, the true definition of punk rock: loud, fast, and truly offensive. Their infamous tongue-in-cheek humor and hyper songs remain poignant to the times today; lambasting the politicians, the scenesters, and even their own audience.

D.P.I.: Ocean Beach locals D.P.I. (DRUNKIN' PUNKIN IDIOTS) are bringin' it back to Shakedown in the name of booze, skateboarding & general reckless abandon. Banned from various local San Diego venues because of the chaos from their shows, Shakedown welcomes them back with open arms & beer bottles.

REVENGE DEATH BALL: With a little bit of edge on their Fu Manchu-tinged doomy sludge, REVENGE DEATH BALL plays like desert Metal whittled by harshness of the otherwise unforgiving climate: slow, callous, and utterly maniacal. The band's sound reminds me of the great licks from the now defunct Gargantula, especially REVENGE DEATH BALL's vocals, which are perfectly aligned with the band's demolition-sounding riffs and enjoyable jagged time changes. Add to this a whole lot of Kyuss, a smattering of Crass and Black Flag, and just a touch of Slayer, and you have a band with an easy appeal: something to put on when driving in the fast lane toward an uncertain destiny.

TWiNGiANT: formed in the spring of 2010 to fulfill the band members' desire to play loud, low-end music. They are from the lost desert planet of Phoenix, Arizona. :TWiNGiANT: have played numerous local shows with both local and national touring acts such as St. Vitus, Weedeater, Pallbearer, Hull, Atlas Moth, Kowloon Walled City, Intronaut, Black Tusk, Saviours and Thrones.
