MARK and BEVERLY DAVIS's repertoire draws from the international folk guitar traditions. Their instrumental concert at Sylvester Manor will include classical guitar duets with a bit of Baroque, modern Romantic pieces, and interpretations of early British Isle folk songs, followed by mandolin and guitar duets from France, Brazil and America. Doors will open at 7:30pm, and the show will start at 8pm.
Mark Davis is the Music Director of the Providence Mandolin Orchestra, one of the leading plucked string ensembles in the U.S. Mark performs and tours internationally in a duo with his wife, the guitarist Beverly Davis. Beverly also performs and tours with the Providence Mandolin Orchestra.
