ELECTRA GLIDE IN BLUE and DRIVE are two films that will change your world if you have never seen them.
Not only do they both hinge on the aural, but they center on that which is male and that which is the male relationship to his vehicle.
Masculinity. Femininity. Music. Violence. Motorcycles. Fast cars.
Authority and criminality.
That's what these films center on.
