Herbs in the Garden Workshop with Sarah Patterson
Join local herbalist Sarah Patterson for a class on cultivating and using medicinal herbs. Students will learn the basic techniques for growing annual and perennial herbs in the Inland Northwest, as well as detailed instructions on proper harvesting for maximum medicinal and culinary benefit. Sarah will cover the medicinal virtues of several easy-to-grow herbs and students will take home recipes for making herbal vinegars and honeys.
Sarah Patterson is a Certified Clinical Herbalist practicing and teaching in Spokane, WA. She is the owner of Radicle Teas, Tinctures and Tonics and sells her organically grown and wildcrafted herbal products at local farmers markets.
