1-3:30pm, Saturday May 11th
at Tin Can Studio

You know how to make your puppet talk, but what does she sound like?
You can make him move, but where is he going? And how does he get there?

In this fun, intermediate puppeteering class, you'll learn the basics of characterization - voice, physicality and emotion - and how to apply them to your puppet. You'll get tons of tips for making character choices and see what a big impact they can have on your puppet's performance.

Beginning puppetry class or equivalent puppet experience recommended.
Class recommended for ages 15 and up.
Please dress comfortably and be ready to move.

Class size limited to 16.

***FAQs***
- Do I have to bring my own puppet?
No. There will be plenty o' puppets provided to play with. However, if you have your own arm and rod puppet friend, you are absolutely welcome to bring them to class with you. Also, if you took the Beginning Class and have your practice puppet handy, bring it along!

- Will we be building puppets in this class?
No. Nonononono. That takes waaay longer than 2 hours.

- Do I have to be good at funny voices?
Full disclosure: We will be getting into voices in this class. Some of them might be funny. However, I'll help you along, to make it as non-scary as possible. And you don't have to be good at it when you walk in.
