Duruflé's 'Requiem', with NYC Chamber Orchestra & Masterworks Festival Chorus
On Monday, April 8th at 8:00pm, Manhattan Concert Productions presents Duruflé's 'Requiem' at Carnegie Hall, featuring the New York City Chamber Orchestra and Masterworks Festival Chorus, all under the direction of Guest Conductor Dr. Alan Raines. Raines' choirs have performed throughout the United States and Europe and have received invitations to perform for conventions of the American Choral Directors Association, Music Educators National Conference and the National Collegiate Choral Organization.
This will be followed by the National Festival Chorus performing a diverse and exciting program of intricate choral works by Farthing, Haydn, Sowers and more, with Guest Conductor Dr. Jeffery Redding.
The concert will also feature Eastern Kentucky University Singers, conducted by Dr. Richard Waters.
