Hoosier Hostility
Anyone who has ever spent time in the Midwest is familiar with the term "Hoosier Hospitality." However, on April 27th, we will be opting for something slightly more aggressive!
"Hoosier Hostility" welcomes the Naptown Roller Girls back to the Marsh Blue Ribbon Pavilion Saturday, April 27th, 2013. The Naptown Warning Belles will kick the night off with a rematch against the Windy City Rollers Second Wind. The two teams last tangled last spring in Chicago, with the Second Wind coming away with a decisive victory, 79-171.
The second bout of the night features the #16 Tornado Sirens battling the #56 Burning River Roller Girls (Cleveland). The Sirens and Burning River last met in December of 2009, with the Sirens' taking the win 77-99.
Doors open at 5:30, with the Warning Belles' bout starting at 6:00 PM.
Partial proceeds from this bout will benefit the Indiana Bone Marrow Center. Indiana Bone Marrow Center and Be The Match raises funds to help patients who need a bone marrow or umbilical cord blood transplant find a donor and receive treatment. They will have a table set up at the bout if you would like to register to be a match. You will simply fill out a registration form right there and be given a cheek swab. For more information please visit Be The Match.
