Rachael Magidson & the Hot French Strings

On tour from Bordeaux, France!

The Hot Strings quartet is a collective of musicians from Bordeaux France. They breathe new life into the American and French standards we love from the golden era of the 1930's to the 1950s.

Rachael Magidson began playing music at age 6, with piano, bass, percussion, alto sax, trumpet and guitar. She is now fronting and arranging for the Hot Strings, as well as several other bands.

Ludovic has been playing throughout Europe and in Africa with many musicians and has recorded three albums as sideman the last with Laurent Maur who is a world champion jazz harmonicist.

Arno Veylose on flute. Arno studied at the French conservatory . He has been playing with diverse groups of jazz , Brazilian and Capo Verdian music throughout Europe and is an accomplished improviser.

Franck played Blues until he discovered Jazz at the age of 19. He is a graduate of the French Conservatory.
