Asian Glow II
Asian Glow presents a new three-part artist series with an all Asian-American/Pacific Islander (AAPI) line-up in Boston. Each show takes place at a different venue starting on Oct. 13th at the Pao Arts Center, followed by Nov. 3rd at the Lily Pad, and Dec. 1st at Make Shift.
The second show of the series features international-touring, singer/songwriter Kevin So, Post-Colonial Pop Band Awaaz Do, Composer/Artist Grace Ming, and comedians Stine An and Jere Pilapel! All artists are representative of the amazing talent in Boston and identify with the AAPI diaspora. Tickets for the Nov. 3rd show and artist information are available through asianglowboston.com.

Asian Glow is a performance series for Asian American creative artists in Boston, which seeks to raise visibility for Asian Americans, extinguish tokenism, and explore individual stories involving the twin myths of the model minority and perpetual foreigner. Asian Glow also seeks to give the artists a platform to perform in a genre or style that does not necessarily link to their national or ancestral identity and provide local role models for the Asian community.
ACCESSIBILITY The Lily Pad entrance has stairs, but can be wheelchair accessible on request with a removable ramp. There are two single-use, all-gender restrooms inside.
Asian Glow is made possible by a Live Arts Boston grant from the Boston Foundation.
