Avenue Q - A CenterStage Theatre Company Production
Happy 15th Birthday Avenue Q! CenterStage celebrates probably the funniest (and definitely the furriest!) show you're likely ever to see in Louisville, CO. Winner of the Tony® Triple Crown for Best Musical, Best Score and Best Book, Avenue Q is a hybrid of South Park and the Muppet Show in an all singing, all dancing musical "fur-fest" that is sure to have you crying with laughter and roaring with joy! The musical centers around the fortunes of wide-eyed Princeton, a college graduate whose search for purpose and tiny bank account leads him to the less than desirable neighborhood, where he meets a cast of characters human and puppet who use music and comedy to make sense of adult life, and its issues and anxieties all too familiar.
This adult "Sesame Street" musical is for mature audiences and those (not easily offended) with a sense of humor. Leave your kids at home and come celebrate Avenue Qs 15th birthday - a show that is is part flesh, part felt and packed with heart!
