SAM BROVERMAN LIVE AT THE FLYING BEAVER PUBARET!

Sam Broverman sings lyrics and melodies together. Bowing to pressure that he has put on himself, he will be reprising the other A-Train song that had its Toronto debut a few weeks ago.
ABOUT SAM BROVERMAN: Over the past few years, Sam has been singing in clubs in Toronto, New York, Winnipeg, Vancouver and Hong Kong. He debuted his Johnny Mercer show last December and performed it at the Metropolitan Room in New York in May. In his review of the NY show in BroadwayShowBiz.com, Ron Forman, on-air host of the jazz radio show "Sweet Sounds" heard on WKRB 90.3 FM in New York said "What a delight to see and hear a talented and polished singer perform ... Broverman has studied and mastered the art of singing".
Last year Sam released an album of songs by Johnny Mercer. Russ Titleman, Grammy award winning producer of albums by Eric Clapton, Randy Newman, James Taylor, Paul Simon, George Harrison, etc. said "You have a very pleasing vocal quality and I especially like the ballads on your record." Rob Lester in his review of the album in Talkinbroadway.com said "His sound is vibrant ... exuberant and excited ... pure joy ... Bravo, Broverman!". Jaymz Bee said of the album "The CD sounds great you and Ken (Whiteley, producer) did a fantastic job congrats! "I Thought About You" is a killer." Wholenote Magazine's review said " lovely and evocative ... he swings like the best of them".
