Satisfy your sweet tooth and join us on Sunday, April 21, 2013, 3:00-5:30 p.m., at Openhouse - The Old Bowery Station, when local bakers and food bloggers gather for the first time to present their delicious desserts all to raise funds to support scholarships and programs for at-risk students in Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP). 100% of the proceeds raised at this event will go to C-CAP, www.ccapinc.org.
Guests of the event will enjoy fabulous treats donated by local pastry chefs, bakers, and food bloggers. The afternoon's festivities will also feature two demonstrations from renowned pastry chef Stephen Collucci and master chocolatier Mehdi Chellaoui. Guests will also have the opportunity to win amazing door prizes including a copy of the Momofuku Milk Bar Cookbook signed by Christina Tosi, baked goods from Pound for Pound Bakery, and many others.
