Sharon Tse and Friends
Like so many people, The Sound of Music was a huge influence on Sharon Tse. She was 3 when the movie came out and when she finally saw the film, it was all she could do to keep from singing the entire score at the top of her lungs in unknowing bliss.
Even though she has been playing guitar and writing songs since she can remember, being a singer wasn't on the top of her "What I Want to Be When I Grow Up list."
She dreamed of being a ballerina (but was never tall enough or flat enough) so she moved on to symphony conductor, Broadway actress and crew member on Jacques Cousteau's ship, Calypso.
But music remained the one constant in her life.
With the help of her friends she released her first CD, The View From Here. Many of those friends will join her for this concert including Duane Harlick, Tony Jaworowski, John Finan, Beverly Meyer, and Dan Hazlett among others.
