John Tole with Gus Lynch
Hailing from Dallas, John Tole is a rapidly rising force in the world of comedy. Skewering the politically correct, and the too-easily offended, but with intelligence and a keen eye for current events, John's (extremely) irreverent humor invariably causes the audience to burst into laughter in spite of itself. This isn't comedy for the weak stomach; but for people who like to push taboos with clever and relevant humor,John can't be beat.
With over 10 years of stand-up experience, John has mastered his timing, delivery, and crowd control. He's delighted audiences with his no-holds-barred stand-up in venues of all sizes, across the country. Recently, John took 1st place in the first installment of Could You Be A Killer?, a comedy contest being filmed for Howard TV. The prize? A spot on tour with The Killers of Comedy, a national act featuring comedians from The Howard Stern Show (including such comedy veterans as ( Colin Quinn, Jim Florentine, Richard Christy, Sal Governale, Shuli, Beetlejuice and Yucko the Clown). That John has not only held his own, but owned the brutal and unruly Howard Stern fans, speaks volumes for both his material and stage presence. John has also shared the stage with Greg Giraldo, Robert Kelly, Jim Norton, Doug Stanhope, Jim Jeffries and many other national and international headliners. Aside from performing stand up John writes for The Miserable Men Show on Sirius Satellite Radio on Howard 101 and is also a tour regular on The Miserable Men Comedy Tour.
Gus Lynch
Gus Lynch is an actor, comedian, and founder of The Akumal Comedy Festival. As a comedian he has opened for many of the biggest names in comedy, such as David Allen Grier, Harland WIlliams, TJ MIller, and Doug Stanhope.
Before he began telling jokes, Gus was a film actor of very little renown, amassing over two dozen feature film credits, largely in terrible movies you should never see (Baby Geniuses II, Hellraiser V, Halloween VIII). BY sheer chance, he also snuck in some kinda cool ones without roman numerals behind the titles. (Saving Silverman, I Spy, North Country).
