INTIMATE EVENING WITH MIA VERMILLION & KEVIN SUTTON

This edition of the Singer/Songwriter Showcase will feature Mia Vermillion and Kevin Sutton. Mia Vermillion has played music and sang for years. In 2009 she burst onto the national scene with her 2009 release "Alone Together With The Blues"! She has a powerful, sulrty voice and has puts her personal touch in all of her music. She performs both with her band and as a solo artist and has graced the stages of many music festivals such as Portland's Waterfront Blues Festival, Sunbanks, Untapped Blues & Brews to name a few and many of the Pacific Northwest's best music clubs such as Jazz Alley, Highway 99, etc. Her newest adventure is as a duo with Kevin Sutton. This combination, well very new, has produced some amazing music and created quite a buzz in the local music scene! Kevin Sutton spent his early years learning the "Blues" in one of America's hotbeds, St Louis! He spent time playing with and learning from such pros as Johnny Johnson, James Crutchfield, Henry Townsend, Tommy Bankhead to name a few. When he moved to the Seattle area he joined up with Keith Bakke and Rick Jacobson to form The WIRED Band! This band won the International Blues Challenge in 2012 and established themselves as one of the newest bands on the national scene. They played on the Legendary Rythum & Blues Cruise, Portland's Waterfront Blues Festival and many others! Kevin is a talented songwriter, singer and musician whos plays the piano, harmonica, and multiple stringed instruments! He is a natural born entertainer and this will be his first time performing as a solo artist! Definately something you don't want to miss!
